Durham Communications was established in 2006 with the aim of filling a gap in the radio market - a gap which meant that many small to medium sized organisations were being inadequately served by the communications industry. Once supplied with equipment, many organisations felt they were generally forgotten untill they approached thier supplier again to buy something else or to arrange a repair.
Durham Communications provide Businesses, Schools, Colleges, Leisure Centers and Holiday Parks ect with professional two-way radio communication solutions tailored for thier particular needs. And being independent, not tied to any particular manufacturer give unbiased advice regarding the multiple choices on offer today.
Our philosophy is based on providing high quality two-way radio equipment selected to meet the particular customer's requirements, often overcoming real and potential communications problems . Primarily we are a people company, forging long term relationships with our clients to our mutual advantage. As far as we are concerned nothing is to much trouble and no question is unanswered. If the client is asking, we believe they are asking for a reason.
Services include two-way radio sales, two-way radio hire, equipment maintanance and the supply of sophisticated yet simple to use Vehicle Location (Tracking) and reporting systems.
We strongly believe in personal service. No call centres or multiple buttons to press. The only machine you may encounter is the answer phone, usually when we are all out visiting current or potential new clients. But please if we are not available, leave a message and we promise to get back to you. Don't worry, we are not hiding behind a answering machine, all our clients are provided with our mobile phone numbers if they need us when we are out in the field.
